Win a Cyprus golf holiday for two
We've teamed-up with golf specialist Cyprus Paradise to give you the chance of winning a week for two at the wonderful Korineum Golf & Beach Resort in northern Cyprus.
The resort is located between the Five Finger Mountains and the sparkling waters of the Mediterranean and one lucky reader and a companion will enjoy seven nights' half-board in a double/twin room with unlimited golf, return flights (from Stansted or Manchester) with free club carriage, 20kg luggage per person and private transfers from the airport. And if there is only one golfer then the non-golfer will receive four hours in the spa instead.
Korineum is a great place to stay and play with the stunning par 72 golf course – the only 18-hole layout in this historic corner of Cyprus – just one of the many attractions. It offers glorious mountain and coastal views as well as a plethora of unforgettable holes and a challenging test of golf.
Overlooked by a combination of mature olive, pines and carob trees, you'll be particularly blown away by the par-3 4th, a 200-yarder played across a gaping ravine to a long shot but slender green.
Plenty of back-nine drama includes the lovely par-3 11th, played across a pine and olive tree-filled valley and a stirring finale in the form of a par 4, with its elevated tee staring straight down the fairway and backdropped by the Med.
The course is backed-up by impressive practice facilities, including a 34-bay driving range and three-hole academy mini-course, and is over-looked by a magnificent clubhouse and a veranda providing awesome views.
The impressive facilities feature a spa, outdoor pool, four clay tennis courts and fitness centre, while a free shuttle will transport you to the resort's nearby private beach a short drive from the turtle preservation beach at Alagadi.
You can dine in style too, either in the popular main Carob Island restaurant, which serves up a delicious buffet, or the Valley restaurant, with its a la carte menu.
Also, a free shuttle service will take you to the nearby coastal town of Girne (Kyrenia) with its castle overlooking a pictureesque harbour lined with shops, bars and cafes.
Cyprus is a wonderful year-round hotspot – average temperatures don't drop below 12 degrees C – and this charming corner of the island boasts 200 miles of coastline.
